Great Himalaya Trek, a complete journey to the Himalayas of our country is more than a line and journey on the map. On the precious years, the original trail of this trek was from east to west but the newly made trail offers lots of short treks and expeditions that the visitors and trekkers can enjoy. The concept of the Great Himalaya Trail was established with a goal to make a trekking route from the east to west end of Nepal that roughly includes 1,700 kms long path. This trek is designed for those trekkers who wish to trek on the Himalayas of our country with the superb views of Himalayan ranges along with the opportunity to explore the wilderness, lifestyle and culture of people living in the Himalayan region of our country.

This trek is one of the longest trekking trails in the earth and likely the most adventurous and dramatic trekking trail that gives the trekkers an opportunity to trek on the shadow of Mt. Everest and other higher peaks. This trek passes through the lush green grasslands, ancient villages of Sherpa, Magar and Tharus, high plateaus and different dramatic landscapes. This adventurous trek doesn’t need any technical climbing experience and also consists of crossing the 5000m high passes in the route.

Great Himalaya Trek is designed for those who love adventure and this incredible journey provides once in a lifetime opportunity. This journey takes you through the Himalaya foothills, rocks and ice and most of the time you will be trekking through a less popular and less crowded region of our country.

Great Himalaya Trek starts from the eastern border Kanchenjunga to Humla on its western Tibet border. You will get an awesome opportunity to explore the lifestyle and culture of people living in the Himalayas of our country. There are two routes to do this trek which are the low route and the high route. Lower route is relatively easy as you will be trekking in the lower altitudes. Feel free to join on this lifetime adventure and make this journey the best journey of your entire life.
