Tshering Dorje Sherpa: Founder & Managing Director. 

Tshering is the Managing Director and founder of Himalayan Alpine Adventure Trek & Expedition and has been professionally involved in trekking and climbing for over a decade. Born in Mamerku village in the Solukhumbu district of Nepal, Tshering grew up in the shadow of the legend that is Mount Everest, where he acquired the climbing and leadership skills he offers to his clients today.

Tshering’s vision in establishing this company was to provide clients with high quality, professional service, enhanced by his local knowledge and expertise. He excels in delivering some of the most professional trekking and expedition services in Nepal. The company has already gained a first-class reputation among clients from around the world because of his excellent management skills and commitment.
Tshering has successfully scaled nine of the top ten highest peaks in the world. He leads all the trekking and expedition teams, and also supervises and manages every trip organized by the company. His pioneering endeavors towards responsible tourism, such as founding the Himalayan Alpine Herbal and Agriculture Farm, are noteworthy and laudable.
Tshering has successfully scaled the following peaks:

(2) Mount Lhotse – 8516m (once) in 2008
(3) Mount Cho Oyu – 8201m (once) in 2008
(4) Mount Makalu – 8463m (twice) in 2008 / 2009
(5) Mount Dhaulagiri – 8167m (once) in 2009
(6) Mount Nanga Parbat – 8125m (once) in 2009
(7) Mount Everest – 8848m (twice) in 2010 & 2011
(8) Mount Manaslu – 8156m (once) in 2012
(9) Mt Kanchenjunga South 8400m in 2010

Training:

• Trekking Guide Training completed in 2001.
• Basic Mountaineering Training completed in 2003.
• Advance Mountaineering Training completed in 2004.
• Basic wilderness first aid course completed in 3005.
• Advance level wilderness first aid course completed in 2010.

Ongli Chhiri Sherpa: Trekking Guide
Ongli, 36, comes from Mamerku village in the Everest region and is a climbing Sherpa. Ongli is an expert trekking and climbing guide. He has already summited Mount Mera Peak (three times), Mount Island Peak (once) and Mount Yala Peak (once).
Ongli is fluent in English and Japanese. His cheerful and helpful attitude makes him a popular guide on our Nepal trips.
